“sobriquet“- this piece was a way to think through naming and existential relationships conditioned by how we are named. the exoskeletal becames the figure that represents total alientation and yet as the exo skeletal demonstrates commonality. the work seeks to juxatpose familiarity as per the nickname- a perception of someone’s existence, against how we all exist as alienated beings.
